Later today is our big ultrasound to see how baby Wach is growing & if we are having a boy or a girl!!! Derek still doesn't want to know, but he can't make the appointment because he is working out of town, as usual. Bummer but still looking forward to seeing our little angel. 4 months!

I have been a really bad blogger! We are now almost 17 weeks pregnant. I had my 4 month check-up on Wednesday & it all went really well. I am now down 17 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight and I got a little bit of a lecture from the doctor about needing to start gaining weight and eating more. There definitely was nothing to worry about me eating! I have eaten so much in the last two days I have probably gained 10 pounds! I got to hear the heartbeat & as always it is amazing to hear! She also moved our due date up to may 9th. It's only a few days but I will take it! I have been feeling little movements the last few days. I had been feeling Baby W moving a lot a few weeks ago but then baby moved & I haven't felt much. The more movement I feel the less I worry!

Our next appointment is set for December 15th. It will be our BIG ultrasound. I am finding out baby's gender but Derek won't be. It will be interesting to see if I can keep the secret!

We are almost out of the first trimester!!! I have my next doctor appointment on Thursday & I can't wait!

Where Oh Where

Has my energy & motivation gone??? I am starting to worry that once the baby gets here I won't be able to keep up. Even before I was pregnant I was tired all the time. I have gotten so spoiled with Chloe because she is so independent and does so much already. I completely forgot what it is like with an infant in the house and I'm worried I won't have "enough" for everyone. I'm sure that every mom worries about that. I am really looking forward to the second trimester when I'm "suppose" to feel better and have more energy. We moved over the weekend & while I love the new place I just can't seem to get motivated to finish the unpacking. Today is my day off and instead of working around the house I'm laying in bed reading & watching tv... Not good!



On a good note, we are over 11 weeks now! Just a few short weeks to being into the second trimester & only a week until my next doctor appointment! I can't wait and I'm hoping we can hear the heartbeat on the doppler. I am still loosing weight, I have lost about 8 pounds so far but my belly is certainly growing! I look how I did at 5 or 6 months with Chloe!!!

Oh Pregnancy You Can Be So Cruel!!!

Just when I started to think the morning sickness was going away, BAM hits me full force! Driving to class on Friday I had to pull the car over to hurl. That's always an attractive site, a woman pulled over in the middle of morning traffic puking her guts out on the side of the road! Thankfully I had a paperbag I could use in the car! I made sure I had a stock of those bad boys as soon as I got home too! Friday was a Super Fun day too! (insert sarcasm here) Since getting pregnant I get migraines about 2-3 times a week. Best part, you can just take Tylenol for them. Really??? Tylenol? That's like giving someone a band aid when they just cut off their finger!!!!

Saturday morning I woke up though and I felt amazing! Better than I have in a really long time. I had energy, no pukey feeling, just felt great! Sunday, same thing. I started believing that nonsense they tell you that around the 8th or 9th week the morning sickness tends to ease up. Wake up this morning.... ok not so hot. I had to "work" which most mornings really is just me lying there praying I don't get a single call. Not feeling great but not needing to rush & pray to the porcelain gods either. That's an accomplishment. So off to the shower I go to get ready for classes for the day. Oh awesome! The only thing better than puking on the side of the road, puking & dry heaving in the shower! Well at least I know our little gummy bear is growing like he should. How is it even possible that something so small can make a person so ridiculously SICK??? Here's to hoping that I can at least keep some of my dignity and not puke in the middle of class!!!

On a good note, at least good to me, I am definitely showing more now! I can't hardly get my pants to button and this morning I had to use the hair tie thru the button hole trick. I did order a few maternity clothes online on Saturday though so here's to hoping they ship FAST! I'm sure by the end of this pregnancy I'm going to be hating wearing maternity clothes but for now I can't wait. If for no other reason than comfort!

8 weeks!!!

We had our first appointment on Monday. It was nerve-racking but so amazing at the same time! The did the ultrasound & we were able to see our little gummy bear & hear his amazing heartbeat! I couldn't help but cry. Baby Wach is measuring great and growing like he should. He had a strong heartbeat of 170 bpm. It was the most beautiful sound I've ever heard. I can't wait for our next ultrasound!!! My belly is starting to pop but I still just look fat.... guess I should have lost that weight I kept talking about BEFORE we got pregnant! Derek & I were being our usual goofy selves the other day and I started singing my own version of "MyLumps". It went "My bump, my bump, my lovely baby bump". Derek decided to add his own lyrics to it. It was horrible but so funny! He sang "Her bump, her bump, she wouldn't have that bump if I'd put it in her rump". So funny and SOOO wrong! I am feeling pretty good all in all. Very tired, but that's really nothing new for me. Thankfully I don't have a lot of morning sickness, at least not severe. I pretty much just feel pukey and hungover all day every day. So far I am craving a lot of veggies & meat! With Chloe I was all about the sweets but with this baby the idea of anything sweet makes me want to puke. Subway is all I seem to want to eat these days, good thing Jared says they are healthy!!! I'm baking...

A BABY!!! We found out about a month ago that we are expecting another little addition to this crazy family! We couldn't be happier and are praying for a "sticky baby" this time around! Our due date as of right now is May 11, 2010. We are hoping for a boy but obviously we'll be thrilled as long as baby is healthy and happy. Chloe is already thrilled to become a big sister, but she really doesn't understand that it takes an entire 9 months for the baby to arrive. We have decided that we aren't going to find out the gender until the baby is born, which is of course KILLING ME! Stay tuned for more details as they come! We have an ultrasound on Monday and will hopefully post our little monkey's first pictures then! as of today we are 7 weeks and 4 days pregnant!
